In good times and times that challenge our souls, YOUR PRAYERS MATTER; together, with the Love of God, the Grace of Jesus Christ, and the Soul-Support of the Holy Spirit, we can see one another through.

Hobson is praying for ...
 
  • Jim Milliken's cousin Billy, who is recovering from a heart attack.
  • Hobson members Heather Suggs, Vida Finley and Sonja Dixon-Beasley, who are recovering from health challenges.
  • Jennifer Bledsoe's brother, John, and his partner Scott, who are in the process of adopting a child.
  • Ina Cantrell's granddaughter, who is being treated for diabetes.
  • The mother of Sara Perez's friend, who is scheduled for surgery this week.
  • The elderly parents of Kim Coffing, (a colleague of Garlinda Burton's), who are facing health challenges.
  • The family and fan's of pop singer Whitney Houston, who died Feb. 11.
  • FOH the Rev. Elijah McGee is in a rehabilitation, recovering after a stroke.
  • George Oeser (and partner, Ranger Tillman) who has a line on "one of his dream jobs" this week.
  • Romana Day and the older woman she cares for.
  • FOH Jim Melchiorre's 1-month-old grandson, Paul, who is still recovering from heart surgery, and for his parents, grandparents and extended family who are rooting for him.
  • The participants in "Occupy Nashville."
  • Our homeless brothers and sisters, especially during this spate of freezing weather in Nashville.
 
...and we're celebrating these blessings
 
  • Emyjai Winston, 7, who had a better week at school the week of Feb. 9, and for all schoolchildren who are struggling with behavior and grades.
  • Brittany McLaney and Heather and Kenny Suggs, who moving to new homes in East Nashville.
  • Natalia Smith, 4, got a good report from the doctor—no tumors or spots, she's gaining weight, and her counts are up. God is able!
  • FOH Avery Ewing, who is 75% done in completed his doctoral degree.
  • Gail Dixon, who is getting better and will start physical therapy soon.
  • The members of our new choir, "Voices of Celebration," for giving their time and talents to make our worship more meaningful.
  • Brad Wright who is donating his time to keep our church clean!!!
  • Johnny Brewster, Ron Taylor and Timothy Smith, who with Pastor Dixon have been hosting homeless brothers each Sunday at Hobson's "Room in the Inn."
